ART JUST GOT BACK FROM HOLIDAY
After a long holiday it’s time for the art lovers to meet up again. Art Beat is a new addition to the city’s vibrant art scene, debuting as a new contemporary art platform in Istanbul, will be organized for the first time this week. The art fair, which will bring together both Turkish and international galleries under the same roof, also coincides with the opening of the 12th Istanbul Biennial, which is devoted to Turkish participants from Sept. 17 to Nov. 13.
The majority of galleries are Turkish, but exhibitors from the Middle East and US who have either represented Turkish artists or have associations with the Turkish art scene will be there.
